Understanding Credit Usage Workflow

When you create a new case, one credit is put on hold. This means the credit is temporarily taken from your account while the system works on your model.

Here’s what happens next:

  • If you download the model → the credit is used.
  • If the model is rejected or cannot be generated → the credit is returned to your account.

⚠️ Keep in mind:

  • The person who downloads or rejects a model might not be the same person who created it.
  • If you reject a model but later change your mind and want to download it, you’ll see a warning. If you continue, the download will cost a credit.

When Credits Are Unavailable

  • You cannot create a case or download a rejected model if your account doesn’t have enough available credits.
  • Credits that are on hold do not count towards your available balance.

Important Notes on Held Credits

  • If a model is created but not yet downloaded or rejected, its credit stays on hold.
  • This can make it look like your organization has “used up” credits, even if no models have been downloaded yet.
  • You can check which credits are on hold by going to the Designed tab. Any model with the status “Design Complete” is still holding a credit.
